the card isn't worth that much is it? why alter a cheap one? makes no sense.

I was thinking about that too. Plus you can't really see any signs of tampering because surely that Upper Deck logo in the center of the swatches would be bent up or something. I dunno, it just make me wonder why the jersey piece is green... Maybe the card company messed up?

Nope, their practice jerseys aren't green either. Offense wears solid white, defense wears solid black, and the QB's wear solid red. The Pro Bowl jerseys he's worn have been white with some red stars and one of them was like a darker blue... Like I said, I'm just wondering if maybe they inserted the wrong jersey pieces in this one...

That's weird you brought this up. I saw a Frank Gore patch card at a show this weekend with an all green patch in it! It wasn't a rookie either! It was an '07 card. It was a dark, deep forest green color. Very odd! I thought it may have been from his college days, but I don't think their uni has a dark green color... does it? The worst part is that the dealer wanted $10 for it and wouldn't budge on price, even though I pointed it out. But I would stay away from it if you're unsure.

I have seen a few other Gores like that with the green patch in it. The ones I have seen were in Artifacts so Im not sure if the Gore would be a fake.

ive seen a good bit of green Gore things from Miami as well. Check the wording on the front or back to see if it says collegiatte.
