Not a good break for the autos really... blah. I got Ramon Sessions and Gabe Pruitt. Will probably just keep them with my set.

Overall, this is a cool set, but I had a few issues with my box. 2 packs only had 7 cards in them (these were not packs with the autos, just regular packs). one of those two was missing the 96-97 parallel, so i guess that's the missing card. The second pack, the Al Thornton parallel was very bent in half down the middle, it looks like someone took it and just mangled it, it was so weird. Their machine must have had a glitch when creating that pack? Well, that's probably why it turned out with 7 cards. And my michael jordan base card and jason smith parallel were damaged too.

the checklist on UD's site seems to be wrong in a few instances by the way. for example DJ Strawberry is #94, not #105... ? #105 is jason smith 96-97 parallel.

Here's the breakdown...

Regular set-- 50/60 cards. (of course out of the 10 i am missing, 2 happen to be the Suns base :()
Regular rookies-- all except for #97, #98 (97-Greg Oden, 98-Aaron Gray)
96-97 design-- 14 (2 were damaged).. i think 15 total so i think i am only missing Marco Belinelli
94-95 design -- 2 (Al Thornton and Sean Williams)
97-98 design -- 1 (Greg Oden)
98 SP veteran/legend design -- 1 (Tom Chambers)

no doubles


none for trade, sorry, making a set :) Probably will buy a blaster if i can find one and try to complete more of this set.

i busted one of these today too! my autos were carl landry (yea!) and steve novak (no!!!), and i got the same oden 98 parallel as you. my big complaint is the 94/95 parallel (which i got morris almond) looks NOTHING like the original set, unless i got some refractory parallel. i was looking forward to the 94/95 most of all...

i like the 96-97 the best, and if you get a chance would love to see your box breakdown or scans of your autos!

by the way, did you get the cards in our trade, i sent em a while ago so you should have by now. lmk or pm me.

Sorry to hear about the autos. That is one rough box...

And yeah, I was missing a card in one of my boxes as well. I got my requisite parallels though, so I didn't know what to make of it. They say that they are 1:12 and there are 14 packs in a box, so maybe that 8th card only shows up in 1:7 boxes or something.

I also got a few damaged cards, luckily just base and a few of the medicore rookies...

I just bought that Oden 97-98 parallel off the bay. LOVE the look of both rare parallel sets, working on getting all of both.
