I have a stupid question

Why is it that when people here make a trade, then send the package with DC, most traders refuse to enter the DC# unless they are asked to. Now me as a new trader, I enter the DC# as soon as I get home from work the day I send it out. Anyone who has traded with me so far can verify that. Now in my opinion, entering the DC# promptly is the right thing to do. I do it, why can't other people. If I have to ask you to enter it, I don't want to trade with you. I'm not sure how everyone else feels about this, but I get pretty upset over this issue. Please, give me your feedback and thoughts regarding this. And once again, if I have to ask you to enter the DC in trade manager, I DON'T WANT TO TRADE WITH YOU!

I find that a lot of people don't send with DC and most don't enter the number. I usually do enter it when I get back from the PO. Take a look at my bucket and lmk.

That is optional for members to put that information in. A thought would be to ask the member to put DC up front so they will know. I think most people just forget unless there is a problem with the transaction

i agree geting dc doesent ensure the card is going to get there and it doesent get it there faster whats the point

If you're using PayPal, DC is a must. Especially if there are issues. It does prove you mailed it and they can track where is went.

I always use DC. And I tend to disagree seems to make packages show up faster for me.

But if it was mistakenly delivered to Blue Williams down the street, it still shows the date ZIP Code and time that it was delivered...but guess what, you or whoever you were sending to don't have it. And there's no recourse in that situation, as they show it was delivered to the correct ZIP Code.

If you want to protect yourself, get insurance. That way it doesn't matter about whether it was delivered or not...if you don't get it, you file an insurance claim and get your money back.

All DC does is give you a little leverage if someone is trying to scam you. But for mail that truly gets lost, you're still S.O.L.

Theres good points and bad ones! But if you get upset because someone does not put a DC # in a box is well....crazy! I mean I certainly have better things to do than go to usps site to check on a # that in most cases only takes 3 or 4 days to be delivered. The cards will get to me when they get to me. If its over 7 days, then I may ask them if they sent DC and check. Really you want THAT to be a sticking point in your trades, don't expect to do a ton of trades. Let me ask you this. You make a trade they don't enter the DC # in the box, you gonna give them a neutral feedback because of that?

Great Point right there!, if you give neutral because no dc# was entered the person might want to ask for it to be removed because that problem didnt effect the trade, just your personal opinons. i like others dont use DC as i think its a waste of money and the usps can scan the thing after 1 day and could lye. i use insurance on higher end items or on big money sales/buys
