phili this year is by far one of the most underrated teams and one up the best suprises this year, everyone new teams like the celtics, pistons, cavs, magic would be in the hunt but certainly not the 76ers but they have iggy, miller, dalembert is playing somewhat decent this year, than young is doing good etc

Definitely impressive. After losing A.I., I thought they would be in a rebuilding stage and wouldn't make the playoffs this year. It doesn't look like that's the case though.

They are one of the best teams in the league, of course when willie green isn't in the game. My god I've never seen anyone haul @$$ down the court being quadruple teams and still manage to attempt a shot when the rest of the team is open.
I'm glad to see Iguodala finally taking the team on his back, He needs to be taking the shots at the end of games when it matters most, even though he missed the buzzer-beater against the Cavs, It was good to see that he is taking leadership.
Louis Williams could be the next Iverson in my opinion, if he was to take as many shots per game as Iverson did in Philly. Granted Iverson IS in the top 10 best players in the league, your bound to score 30-40 every night if you take 30+ shots.
Rodney Carney has been practicing his shot, which shows the past month. His 3 point shooting has improved greatly since his RC year.
Thaddeus Young is a RC, so its expected that he will make mistakes. Its a learning process from NCAA to the NBA, plus playing as a forward, he isn't exactly the biggest at his position. But his game will improve in the coming years.
The only thing I have to say about Andre Miller is he has been the most UNDERRATED player since he joined the league with the Cavs in 99.
Samuel Dalembert has definitely improved this year. I can't tell you how many times since his rookie year I have seen him jump at the basket after a sixers shot and got a goaltending on his own team. He is a force down low and people are finally starting to realize that.
Sorry Willie Green fans, I'm a die-hard sixers fan, but he is definitely the WORST player I have ever seen.
I've been a sixer fan for a long time now, I was there is 00-01 when they went to the finals against the lakers, and they haven't been as impressive since then until the past few months.
00-01 Record 56-26, only team to hand the Lakers a loss in the playoffs that year and games 2-5 in the finals were all very very close.
00-01 MVP was Iverson
00-01 Defensive player of the year was Mutombo
00-01 Sixth man of the year Aaron Mckie (I think, I may be wrong)
This year we don't have any of that and were still beating the best teams in the league. Dalembert could be in the running for DPOTY, and Louis Williams could also be in the running for Sixth man of the year. So the MVP of the league will not be on the Sixers this year, they WILL make some noise in the playoffs.

you really do seem like a diehart fan. but comeon "one of the TOP teams in the LEAGUE" thats not true, and dalembert has no chance at dpoty and williams wont be the 6th man, thats unreal thinking as many other teams have better 6th mans. the sixers wont make any noise in the playoffs as the best seed theyll get is mostlikely 5th. if they stay at 6th theyll loose to the magic and 7th theyll get killed again by my pistons like they have in the previous years theyve faced them. and miller is defintly not the MOST underrated player since he was drafted, he is underrated but not the most. it'll be another first round exit for them

Theres some things I agree and disagree with you.
They have been the 4th best team in the league record wise since the all-star break. How many teams have been able to go on a 19-0 run on the Celtics, and even hold them off in the end to win?
Dalembert WILL NOT win defensive player of the year, but I said he COULD be in the running for it.
Louis Williams WILL NOT win 6th man of the year, but he will recieve votes for it.
The playoffs will be tough for them, but if they can keep on playing like they are now, they can give any team a run for their money. They have beated EVERY team that is currently in the playoffs in the east since the All-Star break.

the east is pretty weak so being the the 4th best record since the allstar break isnt to tough, if they were in the west they would be in 10-12th place right now, and the division they play in isnt to tough as well, and the celtics arent to good when 1-2 members of theyre big 3 dont play. beating the celtics doesnt mean to much, beating them in the playoffs would mean alot for them though
