Former Oregon QB Dixon Completes Workout

Throwing to former teammates James Finley and Cameron Colvin, former Oregon QB Dennis Dixon showed little rust in a 45-minute workout despite being only 3 1/2 months removed from knee surgery to repair a torn ACL. "It went well. I pushed my knee to the limit," Dixon said. "I was able to throw every throw possible that they wanted me to throw." Dixon attended the NFL combine in February but was unable to participate in drills. Thursday was his first and likely only workout for scouts before the April 26-27 NFL draft. If Dixon was nervous, it didn't show. Most of his passes were on target.
