hey fabric welcome to the site... Heres a small summary on how i would base my choice of what box/es to get

If you are looking to pay somehwere between 75-100 dollars some of the best stuff would probly be a playoff honors box((chance for hidden gems auto rookes and some nice short print autoed inserts)) or possibly a fleer genuine box((i think its 3-4 gu a box))

If you are looking to go over 100 then I would look at a box of playoff contenders((i believe this is 100+ per box)) or sp authentic. These both produce great quality rookie cards if you are fortunate to get one of them.

All else fails check out www.dacw.com they offer all odds of insert and memorabilia sets on the site and can have some great descriptions of what you can get

hope that would help you out

    Unhappy

from what i have seen from the contenders they haven;t been good boxes this year. Few and far between on getting something good. The sp authentic on the other had this year iv seen alot of good pulls but i don;t like the patches as much as last years there still nice looking but just not a nice as last years in my opinion

    Truffle,

You say there are no good pulls from contenders at four AUTO'S per box?

The problem with the contenders can be aruged that there are to many autos.. I am collecting Brooks Bollinger autoed cards and he has like 4 different types of autos with #/25 being the best. I guess that could be where it comes from.. But they even have coaches sign the cards((seen a mike martz and mike sherman((1/1)))) on ebay all ready

    Jay
