Question on these...
Ok, well I'm not a very big basketball collector, so this question might come off as stupid to some of you. Anyway, I recently got these 2003-2004 Topps Cavaliers base cards, and I noticed that the cards were different colors. On the Jumaine Jones and Darius Miles cards, the front of the card has Wine and Gold as the colors, and on the Dajuan Wagner, the colors are orange and light blue. On the back, the Jumaine Jones is Wine and Gold, and the Miles as Wagner are both orange and light blue on the back. I have a scan:

Can anyone explain this to me? I know the Cavs did change their colors around that time, but why the cards different colors and why are the colors on the back of one of them different than the colors on the front? Any help is appreciated.

wow, you're very attentive to detail! i wonder if the miles with a different color on the back is an error... i am not at home, so i cant look, but i have some other cards from this set, and maybe comparing how the teams were colored for other teams might help. it seems like they might have used various team colors on these cards rather than one uniform team color for all players on that team. miles and jones have the same red and gold and are forwards... i am pretty sure the lebron RC is the red design and he is a forward too. maybe wagner is blue and orange and they used those colors for the guards?
i'll get back to you once i can look at my cards, or if anyone else has that set, or the darius miles card, maybe they could chime in.
