granted nelly's comments were absurd. i was just stating the fact that these are no different than the base autos. honestly, i'd wait for spring training and pop them on the bay for some idiot to gobble up. nice cards, but if topps was smart they would have limited the uncirculated cards to the gold parralells.

obviously everyone that responded misunderstood... no biggie, i was just stating that i had an interest in the cards, but not for the ridiculous price that some people have been recently expecting for unheralded players... yeah, is nice to scoop up cards of "up and comers" and "prospects" and afew do increase in value and become minor stars or even stars and superstars... most dont though, and their price declines.. i dont have many autos in my collection at all(until i check my po next week at least)...

get whatever you can for every card you can.. im a trader that doesnt do "book for book" as long were being reasonable, and i understand the investment aspect of card collecting.. ltely though, to many people expect too much for to little.period.

no, we all understood completely....you obviously don't liike ttaking risks...tthat's the point. what you were being ridiculed for is how low you wanted to give uup and how little youu thought of investing in these prospect cards...i mean c'mon 1 or 2 game used for the entire lot? i hope you were joking because that was ridiculous and you're lucky crazylox didn't ignore you right away.

im always open to counter offers, and since i dont have many autos, mostly vintage and star rcs, he/she prbably wouldnt want anything from me anyways..

well don't ttaake it the wrong way....the 9 years i spent collecting is more like 4 years of serious collecting.....just because a person has "traded/collected" for 20 years does not mean that person knows much....it's basically by these comments and negotiating deals that you know the traders knows a little something about the hobby.
