    Time For A Change??

ive been thinking lately of my recent card luck, and no goodluck has came for me in atleast 3-4 months of card ripping. and at the shop i work at i usually trade cards (base/inserts, sometimes gu/autos) to my boss for store credit to open packs, but ie had ZERO luck lately. but i could get anything thing there including awesome gu/autos/rc's from whats in the display case in the store and guarntee myself a good day and good tradebait, there is everything from mj rc's to kobe gu's/rc's to cp3, bynum, jeter, arod, pujols, bush, lineart, manning x2. etc. if you were me would you continue to bust packs or take the sure thing? (also if anyone has specific needs feel free to pm me as i can pick up things from the store for you)
    lmk your opinions
    thanks for reading my "rant"

    STOP BUYING PACKS/BOXES

Its a hard lesson to learn, but your collection will grow much better and for much less money if you just buy individual cards

Hey Dan, yeah I agree with Ed here. I have horrible luck so I don't buy packs too often (every once in awhile when I am feeling lucky...but I still don't get anything haha). Anyways, if I were you, I would start getting more singles you like or you think you can trade instead of getting base, inserts and rcs. Hope this helps. Also does your card shop have any Marshawn Lynch? If so, please PM me a list of some of the stuff he has when you get around to it. Thanks alot!!

hey Dan- I really dont collect LeBron a whole lot, I mostly use his cards to make trades in this area. Im looking for Usama Young, DQwell Jackson, and Jim Sorgi stuff, as well as any/all Vernon Gholston stuff that comes out this year- even base. If your shop has any of this stuff, let me know, but make sure to ask me before you buy or trade for it, since I dont need dupes of Jackson or Sorgi Stuff

It all depends on what you're looking for...I don't think I'll ever want to quit busting boxes. That's a big part of the whole fun for me! It is a lot of disappointment, but that's what makes the big pulls so big.

In your situation (as in mine), I would try to mix it up some, do a little of both. One week trade for some PC or tradebait, the next trade for some packs. That way you still get to open some wax, but you're still building your collection as well.
