Ok maybe this should go in a card forum, so mods please move it if I am in the wrong place...

What the hell is up with unreasonable reserves on ebay? I guess I really have no room to complain since it is their card and they can do with it what they wish, but why put a card up that doesn't have a shot at ever reaching that plateau?

For instance, there are currently 2 cards on which I would like to bid. One is a nice 07 UD the Cup Ovechkin Auto Patch /50. I figured this one would end around $300-400... THE RESERVE IS SET AT $900.

Secondly, there is a Mike Richards Ultimate Patch Auto /10. I could foresee this ending around $200. THE RESERVE IS SET AT $350.

Come on people. You obviously aren't a collector and have no idea what you're doing when pricing out these cards on ebay. As a wise man once told me, leave the hobby to the hobbyists. No wait, I said that.
