Check this out,
First of all this is not my auction, as most of you know I collect BRANDON JACKSON. SO when i found this card, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=025
BRANDON JACKSON 07 NATIONAL TREASURES 1/1 TAG PATCH
I WAS WONDERING HOW A 07 PLAYER DRAFTED CAN HAVE A SIZE/YERAR TAG ON A JERSEY THAT IS FROM 2 YEARS AGO. SO i contacted donruss/playoff/score about this matter this is what i was told:
Hi we had spoken on the phone earlier. I spoke with someone in production about the 1/1 Playoff National Treasures card that has the year “05” in it. Apparently whenever a team is drafting players they do not order all new jerseys , they pretty much use whatever they have lying around. So we have seen rookie jerseys with years as old 2-3 years old simply because that was the size that fit the player. It wouldn’t make any sense for them to order all new jerseys every year if they have blank ones they can use the put the rookies names on. So it has been verified that this is not an error. Thank you and have a good day!

Overall pretty funny i guess? so if they had a jersey from 1965 they might put it on a player and call it good! lol

Wow...that's very informative. I guess I just didn't think an NFL team that wastes who knows how much money on useless stuff would think twice about ordering all new unis for any one that comes to camp....
