Onto the Manly Men Sweet 16!!!

Well boys, we are down to the Sweet 16. These fine gents have survived the first 2 rounds:

Clint Eastwood, Bruce Lee, Bruce Willis, Al Pacino, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Sam Elliot, Sylvester Stallone, John Wayne, Samuel L. Jackson, Gene Hackman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sean Connery, Burt Reynolds, Chuck Norris, and Robert De Niro.

We had 4 upsets last round...

Bruce Lee beat out Christian Bale

Denzel Washington beat out Steve McQueen (still reeling from that one)

Samuel L Jackson beat out Charles Bronson (I dont get it)

and Gene Hackman beat out Vin Diesel.

In the spirit of letting these lads have a day of rest we will begin voting on the Sweet 16 on saturday morning.

    See ya then!

Bruce Lee beat out Christian Bale - this one was understandable

Denzel Washington beat out Steve McQueen (still reeling from that one) - Sand Pebbles should have won

Samuel L Jackson beat out Charles Bronson (me either)

and Gene Hackman beat out Vin Diesel. (While Pitch Black and a few others are good movies, Gene has staying power and the French Connection working for him)

Sam Elliot is the only respectable one left.

Ok at first, I thought you had to be being extremely sarcastic with most of your comments. Then, I started thinking you were actually being serious...but after that comment, I'm again beginning to think you're just being blatantly sarcastic because I think to myself "Self, there's no possible way anyone who breathes, has brain function, and has actually seen a movie thinks that out of this group, at the very, VERY least, that Clint Eastwood and John Wayne aren't manly."

See at first I thought you were serious and was about to fly off the handle...then I realized you were just joking.

any chance we can impose voting restrictions where you have to have seen at least one of the actors movies to vote? It might have saved poor mcqueen and bronson!!
    (Don't worry, I'm only joking...kinda)
