My Best In-Person Success

My absolute best in-person success came in 2002 in Fort Benning, GA. I was down there for Basic Training and was staying at a place called 30th AG where guys wait to begin their basic training cycle. Also there was Pat Tillman. This was amazing in itself. He was good natured about the ribbings he took from the Drill Sgt.'s for giving up $9 million. One night he came over to the bay I was staying and signed autographs. He signed the cover of my Fort Benning stationary which was awesome. I still have it, having mailed it home to prevent damage. Without a doubt this will be my all-time favorite autograph.
