Steve McNair Retires
We all knew it was coming. About time if you ask me, but I'm a Steelers fan.

WOW well guess we know now what the Ravens will be doing with their first pick. I think he should have stayed 1 more year as a tutor to Smith or next rookie to come along.
Sorry to see him go, even worse the way he got treated by titans before this!

It seemed to me like he's been old and hurt for a while, but it was really only last year...13-3 in 2006.
Anyway, I think it is time for him to go, but he's had a really good career. I've always kinda liked him, mainly because of his toughness.
So does this mean I should've hung on to my Troy Smith stuff? Next year is looking more interesting all the time with all the new QBs and other players moving around...how many more months until kickoff?

I think it's Troy Smith's team, should be anyway. I hate the Buckeyes, but I think he's good. If they draft someone, Smith will still get to start anyway, at least for one season.

I wonder how long it's going to take before someone starts wanting to buy Troy Smith RC autos and GU.....oh, wait, nevermind, someone is already ahead of me. LOL
As for Mcnair, I always liked him. I was pissed when the Oilers left because we finally knew that we had a good team and were looking forward to the following year, then, we took it in the ™™™™™. But, there was one thing though, we were right, the following year they went to the Superbowl.

Thanks for reminding me! I can't wait for that, but I could do without the following months of draft analysis....

He had a solid career. HOF worthy? I don't believe so. His two years in Baltimore weren't very kind to him, but he was a 4 time pro bowler and co-MVP. Just feel inches short of a Super Bowl win too.
