ingrown
Yesterday I had the sides of my toenail taken off because they were ingrown. They put a chemical in there so the nail will never grow back again. I had my other toe done in September. I don't remember it hurting this bad! They told me to take ibuprofin and that did ok last time. It doesn't help at all now! I've been taking some of Ashley's left over lortab from her surgery. My toe feels pretty good right now. :) I took it on an empty stomach this morning without even thinking. Just thinking of getting it to stop hurting. My stomach got soo upset, I was so dizzy I could barely stand, and I felt like I was going to throw up. After eating I feel a little better. I can't take the bandage off until tomorrow. ughhhh
Anyone else had any experiences with ingrown toenails?

Never experienced one and never want to. Just seeing Shayne's face while having it done yesterday was horrible. I dont think I'd be able to have it done.

NO, not me personally but some buddies have.
Does this count my wife had her Bunions removed through surgery? That stunk for her because she had both her feet done at the same time. I basically carried her everywhere she needed to go for a couple of weeks. One she only ways 95 pounds, made it easy for me. Two she can't stand sitting still, so this drove her nuts.

I had a friend in the coast guard who had that happen to him during basic training. needless to say they didn't give a crap about how much pain he was in and he still went through basic feeling like his toe was going to fall off.
