I guess it's easy to be a good sport and "great guy" when you're winning.
A little tougher in defeat.
The Hornets will be a good team for years, but everyone was very quick to annoint them as great. Please, they need to to pay their dues on the court and earn their stripes.
Good to see the old fundamental, slow-the-game-down Spurs win this one.
The next step (Lakers) will be an even tougher test (if that's possible).
Kobe's been there, done that. He's paid his dues and got stripes.

Well...I'm done with watching basketball this year. Of all the four teams left, I can't stand any of them.

And I was kind of hoping CP3 wouldn't be a classless scumbag like 99.9% of all pro athletes who have ever lived. He and LuhBrawn can whine together in Loserville.

give the guy a break! he played a good, tough, physical series, and was probably pretty bummed that they couldn't pull out a victory....I didn't see the game, but from the sounds of it, he could've/should've been there to congratulate the Spurs, but maybe he did it when the camera wasn't on him.....before the celebration, etc....right after the game ended maybe he went up to Parker/Duncan and said "Hey, great series" and then left....who knows! but, personally, I don't think calling him a loser is the best way to go about it....wouldn't you be upset too if you didn't win?
and no, I'm not a major Hornets fan.....

im not trying to bash CP3, but I do agree that if he was not there shaking hands and congratulating Spurs players and coaches, he has a long way to go before he can be a "true" winner.
I know its really devastating to lose in Game 7 but its always a good sportsmanship to stay after the game and congratulates the other side....

I'd definitely be devastated if I put my heart into a seven game series and lost. But, Chris Paul should know better. I saw plenty of his other teammates staying on the court. I wouldn't call him a loser for his actions. He's young and has much to learn. The last few seconds of the televised broadcast showed Tony Parker looking around for him and slightly shaking his head!

Sportsmanship is overrated, I'm sorry just my opinion....this "PC" world stinks. Yeah, it would be "nice" to see him shake hands, but to each their own. For some people it's more than just a game, and I'm sure he was frustrated, upset, and needed to vent. If anyone has played at a high level you'd know what I'm talking about. Life isn't always rainbows and gumdrops, not everyone can smile when they lose, just face those facts. Give the guy a break. (and I have bashed the guy for his flopping and crying, so it's not like I'm his biggest fan)

If it was me, I wouldn't have shook their hands. I woulda spit in Tony Parker's face, put my middle finger right in front of Tim Duncan, cryed and whined in a mocking way towards Manu and farted as I walked by the Spurs bench. But then again, that's just me. And I truely hate the Spurs. Nothing but a bunch of whining cry babies IMHO.
