okay so i am on ebay today looking around and see that press pass 08 is out so i think to my self why not try to get some michigan auto's great idea right. really not i start looking at the mike hart autos and i am rather confused on why they are so high, i mean i love michigan football and think mike hart will turn out to be a descent running back in the pro's but every time i watch espn or anything else he's projected to be at the highest a 3rd round pick and just the other day they were talking about 5th round. i just don't under stand why his cards are going for more then alot of other projected first round guys. this is a growing trend with michigan grads i see chris perry autos going for what i payed for a calvin johnson auto. and that doesn't make alot of sense.

just thought i would vent

its because there are only 2 products out yet by the end of the season they will only be worth a couple of bucks id just wait until there are more products out

There is also a lot of Michigan collectors and coupled with the fact that it's a new product makes it hot and a must have. Why, I don't know

Exactly...all the Sage and Press Pass products are selling extremely high for what they are right now. Not only did they just come out (everything sells high right after release), but they're also the first 2 products of 2008...the first chance to get McFadden, Ryan, etc...

Just be patient and you'll be able to get Sage and Press Pass for 1/3 of what it's selling for now in about a month. That's the problem with a lot of collectors though...they'd rather pay twice as much to get it now, even though they've seen hundreds of times that the prices plunge just a little later on.

agree with all the posts on here, i cant even get the one dude im looking for and im kinda in the same situation as you. hes supposed to go in the mid to late rounds and still selling really high (ainge) i bet we'll both be able to get something if we wait about a month and pre-draft/draft fever wears off

ya i am going to hold off for about a month to see what happens, that mike hart card i was looking at ended up getting sold for 60.00 plus shipping, that is something, when pricing comes out the card will probably book for about 10-20 bucks.

Yeah, I feel your pain. James Hardy Sage Autos were going early from $7-$10, and then spiked within a day or two to 2-3X that amount in some cases. Crazy.
