anyway, i finalized my summer schedule a few days ago.....most of the shows are pretty local to me, but thought id see if anyone was attending any of these, or what you might be seeing this year!!

July 10th Billy Joel - Hershey, PA (Hersheypark Stadium)

July 17th Rush - Hershey, PA (Hersheypark Stadium)

August 15th Allman Brothers & RadDog - Holmdel, NJ (PNC Banks Center)

August 23rd Allman Brothers & RatDog - Camden, NJ (SBC)

August 29th, 30th, and 31st Dave Matthews Band - George, WA (The Gorge Amphitheater - my 3rd trip out there!! most beautiful place in the US to see a show - check out the pics!!)

I will try to hit a few this summer but not as many as you.

The only concert that I have tickets to so far is Dave Mathews Band.

I am going to Omaha on July 22. Tickets sold out right away but I got a few on Ebay a couple days later. I managed to get floor seats in row 44. So they are not great tickets but they are better than most.

great fan base down there.....can never go wrong with reserved seats, beats lawn/GA tickets!! his shows keep getting better and better - really tweeked the sound in '06, added some great visuals.....like their older tunes better than stuff of late, but they've always been great about mixing up setlists (which is what makes it possible to do multiple shows).....and im always out for that elusive song that "makes the tour".....seen some good ones!!

    threw a PM your way!!

i am a big concert person!! i have tailed off a little this past year or so though. i mainly like to go to rock shows and stuff like warped tour. i do love pop though, i saw justin timberlake last year and it was amazing. i used to go to probably 20 concerts a year, but now it is more like 10 or less.

as for what i have lined up so far...

4/30- honda civic tour at constitution hall (DC)
5/2- mtvu tour at university of maryland (simple plan, wyclef, the spill canvas, the bravery) (maybe)
7/16- warped tour at merriweather post pavilion (maryland)
7/20- 311 and snoop dogg at nissan pavilion (virginia) (probably)
8/11- rancid at 9:30 club (dc)

i only travel farther than my immediate area for my favorite bands or singers... it is really fun to do that.

Still my favorite place to see a show in the tri-state area.....great setting, great tailgate, bands seem to like it and put on above avg shows. Always stay at the Racoon Creek campground right down the road - love the convenience

it'll always be the Star Lake to me though

I'm sure you've probably seen the Allman Brothers before, but man they put on a great show. I saw them 2 years ago...they were always a band that I really liked, but after that show they are one of my favs.

This is my first summer back in the small town of Franklin, NC....no concerts here, only Pickin' on the Square every Saturday night. And with a 1 year old and another due in July, don't think I'll get to travel to see many either. Chattanooga was never a hotbed for concerts, but at least we had the 10-day Riverbend festival every year and some other good small bands like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Shooter Jennings, and Sister Hazel. Of course that was right up my alley anyway...I prefer the small venues and bar shows much better than the huge arena/amphitheater any day!

All of you concert goers enjoy them for those of us who want to sooooo bad, but can't!

I havent been to many shows since I was like 20. I saw a ton of bands back then... some of the bigger ones were Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Pantera, Sepultura, Dream Theater, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper... and the list goes on.

My last show was in 03. Saw Chris Isaak. Wasn't impressed.
