Seahawks Release Former MVP RB Alexander

In a little over two years RB Shaun Alexander has gone from NFL MVP to unemployed. The Seattle Seahawks released him today. The move comes after Seattle signed RBs Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett this offseason. Alexander had previously signed an eight-year, $62 million dollar deal in March of 2006.
