Upper Deck - Can you do anything right?
This is just unreal. I had two redemptions sitting at UD since the fall. Frustrated, I called and asked for replacements. One was a Phillip Rivers /100 and the other was a Kenny Irons Lettermen /250.
So on Friday I receive my first replacement - I open it up to find a Frank Gore Signature Foundations. It's not a terrible card, and I am not unhappy. it was in place of the Rivers.
Today I got the second replacement - the one for the Irons Lettermen. Guess what it is!
A Frank Gore Signature Foundations.
Upper Deck - are you out there? Is this good customer service?
Two of the exact same cards - both un-numbered.
But listen closely, I have a plan to make sure that this never happens again.
I'll keep my money and not buy any more Upper Deck. How about that?

That's tough man...I'd call them and tell them about it. Who knows, they may try to make it right...

Wow that is just unreal. I mean how can you not pay some kind of attention to what is being sent out to who. Another thing that boogles my mind is why in the world should it take like four to eight months to redeem a card. Once you get the redemption card from your customer cant you just put the card in a bubble mailer and send it out? I mean really just hire some people to take care of that everyday. Why should that be so hard.

my brother was unlucky with redemptions aswell because he got a brian westbrook numbered to 36 and a rookie signature of sean taylor from the pro sigs set. he waited about a year then finally contacted them and they sent a signature terrence newman, braylon edwards and justin fargas.
he got decent cards but he still would have preffered the cards he was meant to get

This kind of things seems to be more rampant lately with all of the companies. Recently, I pulled a redemption from a pack of 07 Select for a Jerard Rabb(??) Inscriptions AU. I send it out and pretty quickly get a card back...it was the regular Score Jerard Rabb Inscriptions, not the Select #'d to 50 and on better card stock. So I called and complained. They had me resend the card and within two weeks they sent back the card I was supposed to get, plus 4 loose packs of 07 Select with a letter of apology. AND in those 4 packs, I pulled a Drew Stanton #'d RC and a Chris Davis Inscriptions AU. Not bad on their part to make up for it, but whatever happened to Quality Control in the first place? I'd definitely call and complain.
Just my 2 cents.

If you only do football then DLP has great products. It just sucks that people fake the patches and make the secondary market hard to trust.
I'm 27 and got back into collecting in 04 and my favorite was Fleer. Since fleer went under I moved over to DLP because I knew Upper **** was overpriced and flooded with crap. Now UD just keeps proving my point and I'm glad I had the insight to realize this from the start.
UD makes you feel like
