You have been fooled!
Al Gore has fooled everyone! Take a look at this article, "Global warming may 'stop', scientists predict."
Now that temps are NOT rising and likely cooking, the scientists are saying:
Global warming will stop until at least 2015 because of natural variations in the climate, scientists have said. So, the weather man can't tell you what the weather will be like next week with any accuracy, but these guys can predict the weather 15 years from now. I love it! Like I have been saying for years, global warming in a hoax and Al Gore made millions and is still making millions by scaring you to buy his "carbon offsets" and his DVD movies.
Researchers studying long-term changes in sea temperatures said they now expect a "lull" for up to a decade while natural variations in climate cancel out the increases caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
I love it! A pause!

It's funny how there is a huge void between the opinions of academia and those who are actually working in the field (like that's a huge surprise).
I know a few actual meteorologists and they have ALL said that global warming isn't as big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be.
Shocker. The reactionaries are wrong again.

That might be true but the pollution is still there and controlling it can't hurt.

That's beautiful. This is my favorite part:
"This would mean that the 0.3°C global average temperature rise which has been predicted for the next decade by the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change may not happen"
So the scientists predicted an increase, then when it's not actually happening that way, "Oh it's just a pause, it'll start again in about 6 years....so you should still fund our "research.""
And if "natural variations" are causing the "lull", what makes them think "natural variations" aren't causing the global warming to begin with.
Humans are so self-centered: 1) within the past century or two, we're destroying the Earth, which has made it millions of years, 2) we're the cause of the recent, extremely slight temperature change, even though the Earth has been changing temperatures for millions of years before we came along, and 3) even though science has been proving science wrong for hundreds of years, the scientists today still "know" they're right.
It's all very laughable, but the self centeredness, naivety, or a combination of both is extremely pathetic.

We should all do our part against pollution and saving the trees. I agree and will be happy to pay a tax for that. My problem is with "An Inconvenient Truth" being played in every school and governments spending billions to prevent something that may not be happening and is likely unpreventable. How to you prevent the sun from getting hotter or the earth from getting closer to the sun? (the likely causes of our whopping 0.3 degree rise)
People are asking the U.S. Government to spend billions annually to prevent global warming when we should be spending billions annually you make our cars more fuel efficient, building nuclear power plants and researching alternative fuel sources.

Who was fooled?
The 80% of the world that beilieves humans cause global warming. Here is a short list:
- Our educators that are forcing Al Gore's moving on our children by playing it in most schools around the world (brainwashing!)
- The tax payers that have been paying billions on preventing human causes of global warming
- Everyone who bought An Inconvenient Truth
- All the news agencies that report it daily as the gospel truth

I haven't spent any money or time to watch Gore's documentary. But, if its a "scare tactic, then that doesn't surprise me. Bush adminstration excels at scare tactics. Al Gore is just another politician seeking to take $$$ from our pockets.
