When Tony Stark gets out of his car and heads to the charity event he passes by Stan Lee and refers to him as Hugh Heffner since he had some women all over him. lol

I really enjoyed the movie. The acting was top notch, special effects were superb, and an excellent story line. I'd rank this in the top 3 comic book films.

Holy Snickees, now I have to see it again as I missed the credits due to the lights. Not sure why SLJ is playing Nick, I think Ray Liotta would have done it just as well if not better. Does this mean Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos might happen?
There is a Nick Fury movie in the works and scheduled release is 2010. All the talk is that SLJ will probably play Fury.

Tony had a bomb land 5 feet from him in the beginning, but managed to survive... impressive
Yeah, obviously a little far fetched, but he was wearing a flack jacket, and caught the shrapnel in it, and he would of died if not for the operation.
The only thing that bothered me was how easy Obadiah was able to use and fly in his suit, where it took Tony a ton of time and practice to master his.
Overall though, it was a great action flick, good way to start out the summer blockbusters. I wasn't a huge comic book kid, but dabbled a little. Downey played a good part though.
I have heard that Iron man 2 will be out before the Avengers movie, so we have something to look forward to!!!

Check this out. A certain someone's shield was apparently hidden in the movie! Look to the left of Stark.

That's sweet. I truly hope they bring out a Captain America movie worthy of the name. The true question would be who plays Steve, Val Kilmer? Would get my vote.
Here is what you are looking for.

The reason being I added this is that the wife didn't know what to look for. She's not down with whole comic book thing. She does enjoy the movies though.

In a press release re: their financial reports, Marvel said The First Avenger: Captain America (working title) is scheduled to be release May 2011. This would follow Iron Man 2 and Thor in 2010 and The Avengers is scheduled for July 2011.
I know it's early on and things change a lot, but BeyondHollywood.com reported a rumor that Matthew McConaughey is being considered to play Cap. I think he definitely has the looks and does ok in action movies (I liked Sahara), but I've got the feeling that anyone who would cast McConaughey as Cap doesn't understand the legend of Captain America and is going to do a crappy job at making a movie that lives up to it.

Oh ok, I remember him in the movie now. Thanks!
