    I am Air Force active duty and I can tell you that a lot of people make up excuses not to go to war. They would be complaining about back pains, knee pains aor something like that. And some females would get pregnant not to go. So IMO if you are not fit to fight they should kick you out.

    if you read the whole article, it says that included in the "unfit for combat" groups are people who needed glasses, dental work, and even allergy medicine. Now I in now way condone sending someone to war who is unfit, I do think the number might be skewed by this that aren't serious at all.

    I agree, a lot of these people signed up for the reserves because they believed it would be only a couple days a month and they actually wouldn't got to war.. But the fact they are letting some of these people go that are not mentally fit is scary..
