what is the "Cards That Never Were Set"? sounds interesting.

and are you friendly with the shop you go to? I have never though of trading with a shop, but I guess that makes sense.

its kinda like what they did with Bird and Russell in recent Topps years...just made cards with Magic on him during the years he wasnt in those sets

As for being friendly yeah...I get along well with the owner..We happen to have the same name and birthday(just a few years apart)....I have to trade in his favor usually(common with shop owners) but overall it works well.

i see now.. i thought maybe they were some kinda printing error or something. that's cool though. i wonder if that will be a common theme for topps in future sets (i guess we'll see who they do next year).
