card shows
I might go to a card show this weekend. Its only a one day affair in Manhattan. I always thought you were supposed to get their early to get a good deal on box prices that will sell out. I saw a post though saying its best to go later. Which do you think is the best time? I am not looking so much for individual cards but just a good price on boxes. Thanks.

normally, you go later in the day, as the dealers who haven't met their quota of money are willing to cut prices to move items
however, sometimes, there are dealers looking to sell all their items at extremely low prices, and if so, the collectors who get their first buy them all up
I was at the Buena Park show (monthly), and this one dealer was getting rid of EVERYTHING...he was selling boxes of 1989 UD for $40-50!!!
and it sold out early that morning; I went at 1 pm, and it was gone
