PM Sent Items Default Changed

When sending a PM you need to check the box if you what that PM to go into your sent items folder. The radio box "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder" is now unchecked by default.

The reasoning behind this is most member's PM boxes are filling up quickly and the vast majority of PMs sent are not needed for reference. As you can imagine tens of thousands of PMs are sent each month and every single one has been going into the sent items folder.

OK, i was wondering what had happened to all the PM's i was sending since i use that to track what I've replied to. It would be nice if it was an option we could choose based on our account preferences, instead of having to remember to check that each time. I suppose i'll get used to it.
Still, this site is awesome. My favorite trade site by far!

Ahh! I really needed a PM that I sent, but I didn't notice that you now need to check the box to save them to your sent box.

I agree.. I never realized this either and just sent a message/proposition that would've been nice to have saved. I would love to have the option of keeping this on if possible, while others would love to have the option of keeping it off.
