2007-08 NBA All-Defensive Team Announced Today

First Team:
Kevin Garnett
Kobe Bryant
Marcus Camby
Bruce Bowen
Tim Duncan
Second Team:
Shane Battier
Chris Paul
Dwight Howard
Tayshaun Prince
Raja Bell
I don't think I can argue with those selections... Everyone on the first team is all deserving of first team IMO.

Spurs represent!
I'm not sure about Camby. Sure, he gets a lot of blocks. But wasn't Denver one of the worst defensive teams this year? Only person that comes to mind that could be added is Baron Davis. He averaged 2.3 steals per game, only behind Chris Paul. Of course, the Warriors were a bad defensive team too.

Denver was pretty horrible defensively this year. However, Camby (as an individual) played exceptionally well on defense this year. He averaged 10.2 defensive rebounds per game, 3.6 blocks per game, 1.1 steals per game, and only averaged 2.7 fouls a game. But stats, (in this case, defensive stats) mean very little unless your team is winning.

hmm...I think they are all really good selections for the team
but was suprised to see Rondo not being in the 2nd team.
