Dang redemptions.......

I sent in a Leon Washington Topps Turkey Red RC Gold variation auto #'d to 25 over a year and a half ago. I finally called topps and gave 'em a chewin. They are "resending" cards because Leon never signed the Topps. Thats crap. I know it will be some junk stuff. I think redemptions are the biggest ripoff! If you don't have it don't offer it!!!

How do you offer something you don't have yet?

I am going to win the lottery, anyone want to loan me 1 million with 25% interest? :)

what kills me is these guys that don't sign will have other cards from the same company autographed later on in the year. what is up with that??

And the worst thing ens.. is that I had it traded to a guy that wanted it, for a piece that I really needed. Thanks Topps! They are sending me "replacement" cards.....

I acyually got better off on what I finally got. But that is a huge FIRST. The card I got in return was better only with time. Had it come in right away, I would have been mad, but the card I got, the player was now worth more.

But I still would have rathered gotten a 1 of 25 auto !!!

I ended up getting a hester auto. But, I was one of the lucky ones. I think it was only because I called topps and spoke to the VP of that department that I got a somewhat decent card.

Good Luck with the Jacoby Jones. I am staying away from Topps from now on.

from like 01 topps i got an iverson auto redemption... never got anything for it.. that still hurts... and my previous 3 redemptions.. the card was never produced so replacements have been sent... thats garbage
