Got some NICE cards for practically nothing

My ridiculously overpriced hobby shop has a giant box of cards for a dollar, two giant boxes with cards for $.50, and three giant boxes of 5 cards for a dollar. As I began to look through them, I realized that occasionally they would misplace cards, sometimes having identical cards in different boxes. I ended up getting

    $.50 each
-topps vince carter rc (not a great deal, but I needed one)

    $.25 each
    -fleer Shawn Kemp rc
    -ultra Zydrunas Ilgauskas rc
-finest Anthony Parker rc (yay pc!!)

$.20 each (now comes the fun stuff)
    -finest Rudy Gay rc
    -finest Adam Morrison rc
-press pass legends Nick Young rc /499
-topps 07/08 57/58 variation Rodney Stukey gold boarder rc /2007
-topps 06/07 Ryan Gomes black boarder /99
-flair showcase row 1 96/97 Marcus Camby
-trademark moves Nick Young rc /1999
-press pass legends Earl Monroe /899
-stadium club 92/93 Robert Horry rc
    -topps pristine Danny Granger rc

The exact same finest rcs were a dollar each in the dollar box, and the press pass Young was two or three dollars in another box on the opposite side of the store.

Then I noticed they had some 04/05 topps jumbo for $3.50 in a corner so I bought one. Got a gold boarder Gary Trent /99 (oh well lol), and Dwight Iggy Gordon and Kevin Martin rcs.

    Not bad, eh?

Nice finds! A Ryan Gomes #d/99??? Now that's great!!

I remember getting a Barry Sanders (RB in NFL) #d/50 for $0.75....BV on it is $25. Got it at a card shop that is now closed, but I was amazed at that find!

Nice finds, especially for the price. Wish my shop had a dollar sale, everything is overpriced there.

always nice to pick up some cards for a good price... when i went to a card show one time i found some places that had some boxes of stuff for cheap like that too. you sometimes just have to have the patience to site there and rifle through the box to find the good stuff :)

oh and for this one -- flair showcase row 1 96/97 Marcus Camby -- that is a really nice looking set, i love those cards!

Makes me want to run to my local shop and see if they have a 20 cent bin...doubtful though.
