Pool Opening

The pool here was suppose to open this past weekend like it does every year...things were ready though!

I've worked in the concession stand the past 3 years and will again this year. We got a new mayor and new manager so this are so much different already. Theres so much that needs to be done that just wasnt done the last several years so we're tryin to get all of that done.

Saturday we went down and helped paint the concession stand and finished today. It looks A LOT better. We didnt have the paint to do the floor so we went out and helped paint the pool.

Over 8 hours of painting today. I'm soooo tired, worn out, and starvin..havent eaten since 8:30 this morning!

We're gonna go paint more tomorrow..but its suppose to rain in the morning so I dont know if we will or not. If not, we'll paint the floors if they got the paint. They want to open this Saturday or Friday but I dont think we will be able to. Theres just too much that needs to be done and no one who we will work with wants to come down and help with all the hard work. *rolls eyes*

It seems like things will be a lot better this year and we'll get tons more hours. Before everyone would suck up to the manager and get all the hours leaving us with hardly any....and we were the best workers there! Everyone always left us with all the work.

Should be a fun, productive, money making summer! :) The collection will love me with all the additions I plan to add! haha

Some people(Managers) love suck ups and Yes men/women. When this happens it makes it rough for the rest of us. Keep up the hard work
