Redemption sorrows.
I called Topps today to check on about a dozen redemptions from about six months ago. They told me they were all mailed out around three months ago. And guess what I didnt receive any of them yet. And then I had a problem with Upper Deck 2007/08 spx Basketball. I bought a box and it only had 9 packs not 10. So I wrote a letter and mailed back the box and all the empty packs 6 months ago. Called Upper Deck today and they said they sent me 2 packs to replace the pack that was missing from the hobby box. And guess what I didnt receive any packs yet. Did they send all my redemptions and packs or big problem with USPS. How can 12 redemptions all get lost? They have the correct address on file.
Anyone ever have this problem?

When I called they said all cards have been shipped. Another collector I know received all of his redemptions. We mailed them in around the same time.

Didn't send
With you sending that many no way they mailed their end out. We had that happen a few years ago they finally sent the redemptions back. The only problem was I didn't get all the exact redemption cards back I sent in.
Their excusse was due to a high volume of redemptions we could not fill every card to redemption. Now how the hell if you make say 100 of a card an everyone send's back the redemption why wouldn't you have it.
Anyway never bought anymore of that product........ Good Luck

Here is a quick update Topps sent me 4 packs of Topps Basketball because of this problem, but still no redemptions. And to add insult to injury they tell me one of my redemptions was for a Greg Oden Auto Rookie. I had no clue who the auto was since last years finest only says auto on the front and not what player it is. Im now no longer buying Topps product ever again. Thanks for the Topps Basketball packs that really made up for it. LOL

Call them, tell them that you got ripped off, and tell them that not only will you no longer be buying topps, but you are a very influential member of a large online sports card forum and will encourage others not to buy topps, and tell them that for their own good, they'd better send you something that's worth an Oden auto rookie.

Here's the problem. These are multimillion dollar companies. If one person called to complain about not receiving their redemptions they should send them out something of equal value. But thats not the case these companies receive these types of calls all the time from scammers. Topps tells me that the mail carriers are learning what the packaging looks like and from were it comes from. The carriers are the ones taking the redemptions. This Is one of the things Topps told me could of happend.
Easy fix Its called a DC# Then there would be no question about redemptions being taken by the carriers or if they were shipped or not. Show me PROOF Topps word is not good enough for me any longer. Redemptions wiil always SUCK.
