Walmart/Beckett Value Box

I grabbed one of the $20 for 16 pack boxes with the special 'free' item. I've heard mixed reviews on these, but wanted to give it a shot.

Of course I picked the one with a Hot Prospects and Artifacts pack in the windows...(even though that strategy really didn't work out)

But overall not too bad all things considered.

I actually was debating the walmart/target pack deals and if they were worth it. from your pull maby there might be some hope for them after all. also i notice that there are selling a 2 graded card box with a chance of a MJ rookie for 25 bucks. My only problem would be paying 25 bucks and getting jacked, but you never know i guess.

i'd say you did well, like someone else said i think GUs are not too common in those mixed boxes. it seems like it is hit or miss.

i think someone else on here also got a luggage tag in theirs. well if you like the lakers it can be a cool prize, and if not, at least there's probably someone you could trade it to that does like them.

Last night i went to Target and found a pack that was 9.99 and it said to be (basketball)1 auto/mem/gu card plus 2 packs. so i thought sweet right? well when i cracked it open initially it had 2 packs of 92-93 upper deck, so off the bat I knew that this was a mistake. When i openned the envelope containing the gu/auto/mem card, it was a tony allen 04-05 topps chrome slice of sucess photo shoot mem card. well all's fare in love and cards!

I saw some of those graded card boxes too...I think I'll steer clear of those. As for those value boxes...ah, don't know if I want to go to the well too many times.
