That is definitely true. If it weren't for the fans over in china, Yao wouldn't have made the team. One thing though. Why didn't the fans vote in Lebron? With all of the hype that was surround him early in the season I dont' know why he didnt' get more votes.

there is NO WAY Yao is a starting All-Star.
As a matter of fact, Carmelo and Lebron are having better rookie years than Yao had last year in his rookie year AND this year, combined
Same way in baseball, foriegn fans sending unworthy players to the all star game.

I don't recall foreign MLB All-stars
but I do know Ichiro was worthy of being a starting All Star a couple of years ago

He definately did not deserve to start last year.
