Detroit Pistons Players All on the Choping Block???
Well, today i got a call from my inside man (my brother) and after he watched the press confrence where Joe Dumars let Flip Saunders leave detroit (thank god :)) it has been made apparent that most all the pistons are on the trading block. the only players not on the block are Rodney Stuckey, Jason Maxiell, Amir Johnson & Sammy Mejia.
That means everyone is not safe pretty much. My bro said that Dumars is extremely unhappy, and that you shouldnt believe that Curry is the next head coach. Dumars has said he is still interviewing Terry Porter (assistant coach of the pistons) and Avery Johnson!
today is not a good day for detroit. the tigers constantly loose :( redwings blow game 5 (i like that though) and the pistons are almost in panic mode
any thoughts?Hidden Content

Detroit has seemed to be a powerhouse (except the Lions) for a few years now....it seems that is now coming to an end possibly....

very true. lions are forever hopeless. pistons are in trouble with there lazy "laid back" style of play. and redwings are old. i do think though that the tigers will still win since they are fairly young

The Tigers with their $138 million lineup that is in 4th in the central? That is just very, very surprising....I doubt they'll come back from their slow start this year....there's always next year! lol (and I should know being from MN!)

I would keep Prince. All the other old guys better go. Pistons better make some trades RIGHT NOW. There are a lot of quality players in this years draft.

Im glad about Flip getting the boot, but I dont think Joe is going to have the whole team traded. The Pistons have a lack of slashing, get your own shot players (which is why Piston fans love stuckey so much) so I think they are going to look to get maybe 2 trades in. One for sure is going to involve Rasheed Wallace. Another could be Rip or Prince. Chauncey Billups may be expendable also because of Stuckey. It will suck to have the squad broken up after all these years but it will be worth it I think.

There's only so many times you can lose a conference finals before you have to realize you're not getting it done. They've lost to a bunch of different teams, so it's not like they're just second fiddle to a powerhouse.

i;d just like to bring up that on sportscenter this morning they are reporting the same thing i posted before :)
and they proably wont trade everyone, but rasheed will be the first to go, but i dont think he is tradeable. they'd proably need to release him and move on
