It will be accurate, but it will be a definite change from how things currently work. Basically it will be the sale value of a card and not a "book" value. When book value is used for a sale, you usually expect around 1/3 of BV. But with SCF's OPG, the price listed will be what the card sells for, no taking 1/3 of anything. I think a lot of people will like this, since many (if not most) people are already fed up with the unrealistic prices in certain "books." But some people won't like it...card shop owners for one. Many card shop owners charge 50% BV and up for singles...but looking at the SCF OPG, that will mean they're actually charging over value. For example, a card that is $50 by current BV, say they ask around $25-30...it looks like a reduction in price, but is still over market value. But say that card actually sells in the market for $17...our OPG will say it's value is $17, so if a card shop owner is asking $25-30, he's asking for well over it's value.
Anyway, it will definitely be different and, if it catches on in a big way, could actually revolutionize pricing of cards. There will be plenty of resistance to it, mainly from people who are charging too much for their cards currently, but I think overall it will be very welcomed and should be a huge hit....I know a lot of people, myself included, are very excited about it and can't wait for the "grand opening."
Oh and it will be cheaper than "other" guides.

Sounds great - yeah, most cards I feel the best price is around 1/2 the low BV unless it's high end or a hot player. Also, my local shop owner charges 100% BV...very annoying as he has two of the last four Beason cards I want (for $40-50 or so EACH).
