I think you can do both with $200....I nearly completed the Fleer base set with a $20 blaster box (142/200 base cards).....buy 2 or 3 blaster boxes (or 1 hobby box with 4 GU/autos per box for $60) and get something higher end with the other $140.

if the set is just base, but 20 aside for that to buy here or on ebay
    now you have 180
take another 60 to buy a box of dpps- 3 hits
    now you have 120
    buy a nicer box
and now your left with 0

    :)

dpps = Bowman (Draft Picks and Prospects) :)

I agree with what others have said, you can probably do both.

    Have fun!

depends on how close you are finishing. if you are realy realy close, don't buy a box. just ask members here for the cards you need. i'm sure with a little cash, they'll give it to you.

and great box imo... is what molly suggested.. and i tend to like the triple threads of this year. it only gives out small amount of cards, but most cards are like /18 triple jersey.

i was actually thinking about the Bowman, thats the one with the 2 diffrent types in the box right?

Im like 50% on the base with fleer and ive already made some trades to get more of what i need!

I was really looking at Topps Lux Box. I like the design of the cards and the odds are nice. I may have to pay a little more but i dont think my wife will mind. Last year i got her a coach purse and this year i got her a really nise wine picknick basket and 2 really good bottles of wine! so i think that i have got a little lee way.

any one collecting lux box? if so is it worth the price?

I personally don't really like the design of the cards in luxury box. Topps Stadium Club is fun to open, with 8 GU and 4 autos for around $100. It has good odds of getting something cool, but if you want resale value it's not really the product for you.
