not to sound too annoying here, but you may want to check the math on this one. 4x.15 does equal $.60 but I'm pretty sure 4x.04 doesn't equal 12 cents. I'm pretty sure that last one should be 16 cents lol

I think Obama's similarities to Carter are limited. I believe they have entirely different personalities and that Obama will show a much different methodology in his attempts to orchestrate his policies. Neither are typical presidents, but Obama is much more media savvy, which can be a good and bad thing depending on circumstance. Carter is and was a non-extrovert whose mentality hadn't been seen since Coolidge and likely will never be seen again.

My comparison is on their economic policies in a economic slow down/recession. Increasing taxes, government control, foreign policy inexperience, etc. Jimmy Carter invented "stagflation" and Obama will bring it back.

If you actually read my reply in context to Mike's original post, you will see that I just questioned the topic without seeing proof is all. I do know that the Dems have a plan they claim would take out the deficit rather quickly
