Upper Deck and Topps are the top two card companies. They produce sets Like Upper Deck Exquisite and Topps Finest. Each product will have the company name (usually) followed by the name of the set (Exquisite, Finest, etc). Hope that helps you some.

They are card company brands who produce the cards we collect.

Not to mention the fact that there are products like just Topps 07 08 which is good for beginners.

Well i bought some basketball cards of ebay to get me started, they are a 10 card lot of 07/08 fleer cards!

I am still waiting for them to arrive, how will i know how many more cards are needed to complete the set? will it say it on the back of the cards?

And what sort of price guide can i get to find the value of the cards?
