Best pack bust for me ever.

Just made a bucket (which is a work in progress still) and thought I'd put it to use.

My dad and I buy a box or two every year (since 1989 or so) and generally don't get anything worthwhile. The fun is in the pack breaking itself and bonding. We get $30 worth of packs and supplies about twice a year as well. In 2001 we needed supplies and went to a store in Charlotte (amazing shop) and got cases, sleeves and 2 packs of edge graded and 2 packs of Elite. The graded cards were Plaxico (gem) and McNair (9). Anyways, the Elite had the first redemption I had ever seen and we got this in the mail 2 months later..

Never underestimate buying a few packs at a shop. We have never come close to this again, but it was well worth it.

Nice stuff man, nice to see someone who buys stuff not for the resale value but the actual enjoyment of busting the packs.

Thanks a lot guys. We never even took it out of the case they sent it in until a week ago when we got some magnetic holders. It'll be one of the cards passed down for a long time I hope. Books $450, but I could not care less!

Thanks pack and htw. Hopefully this won't be the only time I get a pull like that. I think I've only pulled 3-4 cards that BV over $100. Then again, I don't buy really high end stuff either.
