    Question about a smudged autograph on a card

    i have a card, its an on card autograph, and its a little bit smudged. just a bit. it appears that the player who signed the card made the smudge. now my question is, does this lower the value of the card? plmk guys... thanks

    btw, the card is for my pc... but it havin a smudge bothers me

    I think so but it really depends on how bad it is. Some collectors will not even pay attention to this, Their in it to make money, more then likely they are dealers who are trying to make a quick buck, if it something they think would sell good. People who collect for themselves may not want a smudged auto unless its for the right price. It really all depends.
