Vince Carter 98 Upper Deck Black Diamond question
I have a 98 Vince Carter UD Black Diamond Quadruple card #120
This card is numbered 31/50
I have recently seen the EXACT same card where the numbering is ?/150. They are both BD Quad cards.
Since the person owning the ?/150 card has seen one other ?/150 card with a different number I'll rule out error and lean towards thinking it's a re-issue? Does anyone know the story behind these cards?
I have a feeling that the rarity of my card has diminished :(

If it is 1998/99 Black Diamond, that is Vince Carters rc. The rookies are suppose to be numbered to 50 in the quad series with the other non-rcs numbered at 150.

I know that card #120 is a Carter rc. I also know about the rc only (supposedly) being numbered up to ?/50 in the quadruple version.
What I don't know is why there is another version of the EXACT SAME QUAD CARD that is numbered ?/150.
Why would UD issue a card as ?/50 and then re-issue the same card as ?/150

i dont think it was a re-issue. im going to guess its one of these:
a) a typo on the owners behalf when listing the card
b) a damaged original was sent to UD for replacement and when they re-serieled it, they messed up and put a 150 instead of 50

Thanks for the try bdrr but:
a) no typo. I own the ?/50 and have physically seen a ?/150
b) neither card was sent to UD
Anyone else?

maybe you just thought that you saw #'d out of 150 when it was #'d to 50

I've actually had the Dirk Nowitzki Quad numbered out of 150, and I remember beckett answering this EXACT question, and they claimed they never saw one.
I've personally only saw the quads numbered to 150, but I think there are two versions out there, which hurts the value of the card, because now that means the cards are theoretically numbered out of 200, so the print one may be a little higher now.
