Grapico is big around here, but I've never liked grape flavored stuff (Kool Aid, soda, popsicles, gum, etc) so I don't touch the stuff. Shasta is big at places like Fred's or Big Lots. I remember back in the early 80s when they actually had commercials on TV ("I wanna...a cola...I wanna rock and rolla...I wanna POP POP POP...I wanna SHASTA!")
I tried Faygo after listening to too much ICP, but it always tasted like Shasta mixed with battery acid to me.
Stewarts makes some pretty good root beet and cream soda.
I've heard of Cheerwine, but never actually seen any around here. For that matter, I used to see Red Pop at every service station, but I don't see it anymore. I think they ran out of space with all those high energy drinks like Rock Star and Red Bull.

Stewarts soda is very good. love the Root beer.
I never heard anybody call soda just "pop" until a few years ago at my job. My buddy was from Kansas, and he was heading to the vending machines and asked if i wanted a "pop". That was new to me, I thought it was pretty funny.
He asked me why I called them Sodas, so I told him to read the can and tell me what it says!! Yup....it says soda. (he was a little slow) I just liked messing with him.

We have Jones Soda here in Missouri too....Target carries a few flavors, and I think Wal-Mart even has a couple too. We also have some SoBe stuff if I remember correctly....anyone remember that SoBe stuff, Mr. Green?
We have a soda brand called Vess around here...not sure if that's anywhere else. We also have a soda called Sun Drop (very similar to Mountain Dew) which I've been told is a local soda, but I'm not sure how "local" it really is.

I've never heard of Vess, that's a new one for me....any good?
We've had Sun Drop here for years and years...it's definitely old school, but I'm pretty sure it's a national thing.

Jones soda is nasty .... waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much sugar. A few years back they also put this out ...

NASTY as well. But it sold like hot cakes on a cold winters morning here. I don't know why, I tried a sip and had to spit it out!
