The comms breifly mentioned this during the Infineon race, but its finally been made official! I wonder where he may end up?! RCR are fielding a 4th car out of their stable next year so maybe he may move over there? Then who will replace his spot at Hendrick. I haven't heard anything about Hendrick wanting to down size to just 3 teams, so the possibilities are endless!! It would be interesting if Smoke moved over to Hendrick next season!

Sucky race day for me to hear this.....:(

Hopefully he lands a ride in that 33 at RCR. Apparently General Mills likes him, which could put him at the front of that line.

in my opinion, i think the number 5 team should take another ganassi driver, namely one that is 22 yrs old. lol
it is sad that mears just can't catch a break. i hope he finds something more stable for himself.
