i like the rockets trade.
we were going with greene in the first place. but turned it into, greene, dorsey, and a future 2nd (a high one with memphis).
the fact that we knew what the blazers and spurs wanted (batum) and we took advantage of that. Then... we took arthur knowing that the grizzlies wanted him, and turned into our "guy" and a future 2nd. great management for us.
though... spurs could have screwed us over and just picked greene. i visisted a spurs board and they were mad at us. ha... thank you spurs. if it wasn't for your need for batum, we would have just had greene. this is the 2nd year in a row that you helped us. (scola)

theanswer - I was thinking the same thing, but we get rid of 3 guys we really didnt want (Walker, Buckner and maybe Jaric) plus Mayo, for Love and Miller....even if we don't keep Miller, we have a great piece for a trade...a heckuva lot better than Walker, Buckner and Jaric! So when you look at it as Mayo for Love and Miller, it's not too bad!
Molly - thanks! I'll add it to the top.

idk.
I think T-Wolves made a great move.
Other guys didnt really matter. Jaric have a big contract and Cardinal also have a big contract.
Actually, Cardinal's contract ends one year early lol
Just as garnett_21 said, it really was Mayo for Love & Miller.
T-Wolves already have Foye so didnt really needed Mayo.
I wish T-Wolves made a deal to get a true Center so they can move Al Jefferson to PF where he would be really unstoppable.
But Love is still good enough and getting Miller was a big plus too.
When that kid is on fire, he is ridiculous...
Watch out for T-wolves next year.
PG: Telfair
SG: Foye
SF: Miller
PF: Love
C: Al Jefferson
Good enough for 30 wins in the west imo.

The thing is, that's not that great of a starting lineup. Telfair, lets face it, will be one of the worst starting point guards in the league, that's a ridiculously undersized backcourt, and there's no true center, making the entire lineup absolutely tiny. Plus Love is going to get manhandled by other power forwards for a few years until he figures things out.

I'm so thrilled San Antonio did this. Dragic plays for Tau, so there is no assurance that he will even come over in 2-3 years. We traded our #45 pick for the #48 pick, an extra pick, and cash.
Portland made some nice deals last night. They really have their act together.
I guess I'm one of the few that see no point in the Minnesota-Memphis trade. Each team would have been better off with the player they drafted.

Minnesota better start making some big moves soon cause I don't want to see THAT starting lineup for the 2009 season. If that's the lineup for the next season, then I'm gonna cry.
