I really HATE this part of passing on info, but I gotta tell ya... you didn't get a steal.. you got took for more then the actual high value of this card!

Sadly, the card you got is NOT an ACTUAL race used lugnut card of Dale Earnhardt's. Instead, what you got was a PRINTED reproduction card that is part of the 2003-2004 10th Anniversary Earnhardt Series and has the number TA70 on the back upper left corner. Beckett list's this card as:2003-2004 Press Pass 10th Anniversary Dale Earnhardt $8.00 - $20.00

These cards are reprints of many of the ACTuAL cards that had been produced of Dale Sr.

Not that I am trying to make you feel bad, but below are pictures of the EXACT same card in my collection with today's date on a paper so you know it was done just now.

PS: This is an invoice I just got today. Yes, I have a black pu truck and that is my vendor number, lol.

At least you found out now instead of letting all the anticipation build up waiting for it to show up in the mail. I know it still doesn't make you feel any better...but maybe you'll get some carma and pull something big in the next few weeks to make up for it. I hope you do...I truly feel bad for ya on this one

if it makes you feel any better i did a trade on another site for a Stewart 1/1 and when it came in it was a 1 of 1 promo card, not a 1/1 only made. I'm POed and really hesitant to trade with anyone that can't provide pics anymore. I mean come on, even a crappy digital camera is 10$ and scanners are beyond cheap......

so I too got the big screw today also.....and it's my birthday to boot.

If e-bay hadn't changed their policy on being able to see who was bidding on the auctions you wouldn't have been hosed.
Back when I could see who was bidding I would contact all the bidders with a mass e-mail to inform them it wasn't an original.
as bad as it may sting at least you weren't one of the people that spent over $100 on a TA auto or signings of him...have you left the seller feedback yet?
