==========================
Interleague play continues and we're featuring a GTS doubleheader due to Thursday's rainout of the GTS-featured Yankees-Pirates game.
Deadlines for the date above:
Game 1
St. Louis Cardinals 45-35 (Mitchell Boggs 2-0, 5.40 ERA or Mark Mulder 0-0) @ Kansas City Royals 36-43 (Kyle Davies 3-0, 3.12 ERA) 7:10 pm ET/4:10 pm Pacific
The Cardinals would like Mike Mulder to start this game but it appears highly unlikely that he will, according to the team's website. Apparently, he's not quite all the way back after undergoing two arm surgeries in two seasons. Rookie Mitchell Boggs will start if Mulder does not. Fortunately for them, Albert Pujols is not on the DL and is back in the lineup. Unfortunatlely for them, the Royals have won 10 of their last 11 games, including a sweep of the Cardinals last week.
Update 6/27 5:15 pm Pacific: Mark Mulder has been activated off the DL but only to pitch in relief, for the time being.
Trivia fact: These two franchises faced each other in the 1985 World Series, which Kansas City won in seven games. KC pitcher Bret Saberhagen won the World Series MVP award that year.
Game 2:
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 48-31 (Jered Weaver 7-7, 4.56 ERA) @ Los Angeles Dodgers 36-42 (Chad Billingsley 6-7, 3.64 ERA) 10:10 pm ET/7:10 pm Pacific
Bragging rights are at stake here in SoCal...

As a reminder from SCF's GTS rules:
3) Scores will be on a first come, first serve basis with no repeating of scores. Check that thread's previous guesses to make sure no one has already posted the score that you want to post.
If you are new to SCF's GTS (Guess the Score) games and want to play, you are more than welcome, but please be sure to read the SCF GTS rules first (it will help you maximize your chance to win and minimize the chance of you making a rookie mistake, lol).
Good luck everyone!
