    In-Person RiverDogs autos

My boys and I went to another RiverDogs game last night. They did pretty well picking up a few autographs. My 10 yr-old son had two different RiverDogs game programs to get signed and my 7 yr old had a game used (cracked) minor league Don Mattingly model bad to get signed. Some of the players who signed for them were:

    Brandon Laird -- 1B
    Bradley Suttle -- 3B
    Carmine Angelini -- SS
    Dave Williams -- OF
    Austin Krum -- OF
    Austin Romine -- C
    Taylor Holliday -- OF

My son was also given a signed South Atlantic League ball from Brandon Laird.

The boys were less than 3 feet from Jesus Montero but he wasn't signing for anyone last night. They also just missed out on getting an auto from Ryan Zink and the hitting coach and former MLB player, Greg Colbrunn. Dellin Betances was still on the disabled list and we didn't see him and Abraham Almonte wasn't signing either.

Here's some scans of my oldest son's programs. Will get pics of the bat and ball up when I can.

I'll be posting some new pics soon. We went to a game on family day and all the players were signing after the game. My 7 yr olds game bat is now about 5 sigs short of having the entire team signed on it including the coaches and mascots. Unfortunately two of the sigs still not on the bat is Jesus Montero and Dellin Betances. Neither were at the game that day. My 10 yr old also added a bunch of new signatures to his memorabilia collection.

My two oldest sons and I enjoyed yet another Sunday at the park considering I got a day off and got to spend some quality time with them. Before I post--none of these are for trade as they are cherished items of my boys and this is strictly for show and tell.

Yesterday my oldest son picked up a pair of game used gloves from Prily Cuello (a new addition to the Riverdogs who was batting .400 for Staton Island (Yankees)). He also picked up yet another game used ball that was given to him and later signed by Brandon Laird...in my opinion a great single A first baseman and hitter.

My seven yr old picked up three more autos on his game used Riverdogs Don Mattingly model bat including Jesus Montero.

Both also picked up new 2008 Riverdogs sets and got 17 cards signed each. Here are some pics from our last two games but does not include all the items. We also have signatures on a line up sheet, some photos my oldest son printed out, and a hat.

We now have nearly every 2008 Riverdogs autograph except a few:

I forgot to add that if anyone wants a complete 2008 Riverdogs set (Yankees - Single A)...I can get them for $5 plus shipping. I am making zero profit on them. If you want one, lmk and I'll hook you up.

Darn...had to work and missed out on seeing Philip Hughes and Carl Pavano pitch for the Riverdogs. Reggie Jackson was in the Charleston Riverdogs dugout last night and again I had to work

My boys picked up 2 new autos at the last game we went to (Friday night). Now they have them all except two players (Wady Ruffino and Lance Pendleton--I think both are inactive/injured). Betances and Herdia were also added to my 7 yr olds bat. He has them all now on the bat except the same two inactive players. Season's almost over...my kids will be disappointed because they love going to the games. I'm going to try to take them to 2 more games before the season ends. Most of the players know them by name now and give them a hollar when they see them waiting by the first base line or dugout area. My seven yr old came home the other night bragging that Jesus Montero called him his little buddy and tapped him on the cap...and they realized they both had the same birthday. We even got another set of batting gloves after the game, but we haven't figured out who they're actually from. We weren't looking when they were thrown. They also had their custom R-Dogs t-shirts autographed by their favorite players -- Brandon Laird #8 and Austin Romine #16 after the game. Here's a few of the newest autos:

I'll be going to 1 or 2 more games...lmk if you want a team set of the 2008 Charleston Riverdogs (Yankees -- single A). The cost will be $5 plus about $1.75 to $2 for shipping in a bubble envelop. I will not make one cent on these...just want to help people get some great young Yankees prospects. The set includes Dellin Betances and Jesus Montero...probably the highest rated prospects on the team.
