Fake Jose Reyes Auto Bat on eBay

So i am a diehard Mets fan and I collect tons of Mets items, now being that Jose Reyes is my favorite player I know his autograph pretty well and I came across this auction on eBay by seller "otclocal"
    http://http://cgi.ebay.com/Jose-Reye...QQcmdZViewItem

Now take a look at other Reyes auto items and tell me what you think:

Thats a legit bat. You know its harder to sign on a curved surface right?

Yes it is but I also looked at the ones from Steiner and a good friend of mine owns a Reyes bat, ball and hat all signed in front of him. I honestly don't think its a legit auto.

It also depends on WHEN the player signed the item. Players also change their signature throughout their career because more and more people want it.

Thats fake. The sad part is that, that is a HORRIBLE fake. DiMaggio rarely put his "i" after the "d". Also the letters are spaced out and that means aomeone tried to copy it. Even if it was issued by topps, Upper Deck put a fake Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson autograph on their cards.

you also have to look at where the item was signed.....players that are paid to sign (card companies, appearances, etc) will often take more time in signing items, thus a nicer, cleaner, autograph.....if you get something signed at a game, random sightings, camps, etc you will get an autograph that often looks different than the others.....just cause an auto looks fake doesn't always mean it is, and just cause it looks real doesn't mean its legit either

That is very true, its a shame though because I worked in a baseball card and hobbies shop and I saw so many people try to sell of fake memoribilia and things that were clearly not signed by players themselves, I guess I've always had a knack for those things.
