Free Agency begins Tuesday

The Free Agent market will open up on Tuesday, July 1st. Lots of decent players...not too many superstars though.

What is one free agency move you would like your team to do? Now, I don't want to hear "Sign and trade _____ (fill in bench player) for Lebron" or any ridiculous proposition....I'd like to hear realistic transactions.

I'd like to see the Wolves resign Ryan Gomes and Craig Smith for sure, and if possible, Sebastian Telfair. If they cannot resign Telfair, I'd like to see them trade for a decent younger point guard.

Sign and trade Gibson plus AV and a pick next year to Milwaukee for Redd and Villanueva.....or Gibson and AV to Golden State for BDiddy.

J.R. Smith (we need an athletic scorer)
Mickael Pietrus (athletic player who would be an immediate starter)
Kelenna Azubuike (likely to stay in GS)
James Posey (likely to stay in Boston)
Corey Maggette (can't afford this guy probably)

garnett_21: Do you think Telfair will be the point guard of the future for the T-Wolves? I sure hope so. ;)

I was under the impression that once they drafted Mayo and Chalmers they weren't going to re-sign Telfair. Now, I'm assuming the T-Wolves management changed their mind, since they traded both of those players away. ;)

It's tough to say....I was thinking so, but I think they'd rather have Foye develop into more of a passer....but I also hope they keep Telfair....I think he has real potential to become a star PG....

I was thinking the same as you....Mayo and Chalmers were kind of surprising picks, especially since we are stocked at guard, and thin up front....but, we got alot in return for both, and now they almost have to resign Telfair....there isn't anyone for a backup if they don't!

im hoping the spurs can find away to sign emeka okafor..... i know its a long shot but we need someone else down in the paint with duncan......then we also need a guy who can continue to carry the spurs for the post tim duncan era.... i read one time that there was talk about signing him...i feel he fits the organization perfect.....his defense is superb and maybe workin wit duncan everyday he will be able to learn more about the offensive side of the ball.......i know it probaly want happen but i have been hopin it will every since i read that article

I would like to see Lakers trade Odom and Walton and (Mihm if they need expiring contracts to match) to Miami for Marion and either Udonis Haslem or Marcus Banks.

I am hearing Artest will opt out, and hopefully sign with the Lakers
