(2) Topps Chrome Blasters from Target

I've seen the Chrome Blaster posts and these look pretty fun to break. So, I picked up 2 at Target after searching far and wide. I struck out at 2 Wal-Marts and 1 other Target before I finally found them. They had a bunch so I may go back and continue on my way to the base set.

Some of the hits are FT so just ask. I'm listing everything from the 2 boxes together:

Thanks Steve. I really like this product. I am very partial to Chrome in general - I think the cards are very slick and high quality. You never have to worry about corner dings because the cards are so sturdy, etc. In fact, I thought this year's Topps base design was UGLY, but on Chrome it still looks awesome!

I'm probably going to throw together the base set, and maybe I'll try to put together 1 or more of the insert sets. I'm torn on what way to go for boxes. I can get a hobby box for around $50 delivered, while I could pick up 2 blasters for $40. I'm not sure if the Autos in the hobby box are really worth giving up the Blue Refractors and X-Fractors that come in the blaster boxes. Plus, I do really like the T205 insert set, which I believe is only available in the Target boxes. Anybody have any thoughts on which way to go for the most value, also considering I'd like to actually build the sets and not just try to sell off / trade off the inserts?

I need that Maine. I love the blasters myself, but I can't find any. I picked up a hobby box because of the two autos and the sheer number of inserts, but the blasters are a great value.

If you wind up buying more, LMK and I'll see what Mets you come up with.

I think I may go pick up a few more blasters sometime tonight or tomorrow - the Target by me had about 10 sitting there after I bought my 2. I also like the Target bonus back over the Wal-Mart ones.
